OUR MISSION

The Tyler Alvarado Foundation, established in 2021, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to support and enhance the lives of those working in, or seeking to work in, the Inspection and Mechanical Integrity industry through academic, professional, and physical or mental health support programs. Additionally, the foundation is committed to creating and supporting initiatives focused on engaging, inspiring, and empowering disadvantaged youth in the State of Texas, including, but not limited to, initiatives for the provision of immediate care, nutrition, supplies, and other assistance.

WHO WE ARE

Tyler Allen Alvarado grew up in Houston, TX and from an early age possessed the unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He was a great conversationalist and relished the opportunity for a friendly debate on philosophy, politics, religion, and just about anything else under the sun. Tyler was a passionate person and driven to succeed in whatever he set his mind to. He attended the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (‘07) and a Juris Doctorate (‘10).

After graduation he returned to Houston where he practiced Oil & Gas Law for a couple of years before capitalizing on the rare opportunity to work closely with his father and friends to turn a little-known publication into a respected and world-renowned media company. It was at Inspectioneering where Tyler was able to harness his entrepreneurial spirit and use his drive and passion for helping people to make his mark on the world.

Tyler was outspoken about advancing the safety and reliability of the Oil and Gas Industry and improving the lives of those within it. Moreover, he personally supported and encouraged others to be of service to their community by helping those in need; in particular, sick and disadvantaged youth.

After Tyler’s sudden passing in August of 2020, his friends and family wanted to remember and honor his legacy, so they established the Tyler Alvarado Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to support and enhance the lives of those working in, or seeking to work in, the Inspection and Mechanical Integrity industry through academic, professional, and physical or mental health support programs. Additionally, the Foundation is committed to creating and supporting initiatives focused on engaging, inspiring, and empowering disadvantaged youth in the State of Texas, including, but not limited to, initiatives for the provision of immediate care, nutrition, supplies, and other assistance.
